First of all, I want to congratulate and thank you for the outstanding work you have done with both the Historia Discordia book and website. It has become an indispensable source for us, and led to a better(?) understanding and development of our Discordian beliefs. And also, some interesting strife and conflict.

Well, I spoke in plural because I am writing you on behalf of Aktion 23, a German-language Discordian sect currently involved in way too many projects. You may have read about us in Brenton's book, we almost made it to chapter 23. Also, our venerated member Cpt. Bucky Saia has scored a bunch of entries into your Eris of the Month list. Some of our projects are translation efforts like German versions of the Principia Discordia or the Goetia Discordia (which is awaiting publication and also got Roldo Odlor's approval). The Brazilian translation of the Principia you mentioned on your blog was a huge inspiration for us, actually I was lucky somehow managing to purchase the last remaining copy from Penumbra Livros, who are really a great bunch of folks. Buuuut I'm running off the track again, sorry. Like I said, we are currently working on a Principia translation that shall be released as a printed version sooner or later, and we are thinking about including some bonus stuff like the Brazilian translators did. And the best thing that came to my mind (besides adding some of our own stuff) was adding a German translation of the Honest Book of Truth to maybe provide a more balanced view of Discordianism. Which is why I am writing because even though I am sure it would be in the spirit of Lord Omar and Discordianism as a whole to publish such a thing, I wouldn't wanna do it without your approval, and also I am unsure about the legal status of the HBT in general. Do you think we can make this possible somehow? We would release it under our own ApfelPresse (German for "apple press") label (which we used for other books before) and print it via Amazon Create Space, of course with all the appropriate credit and copyright/-left.

Another thing I wanted to ask is if you have stumbled upon any information about Avatars in the archives beyond the well-known diagram and the foot note about Pythagoras from the 4th ed. and the rather early descriptions from the 1st ed. as well as the mentioning of Rev. Hensley of the ULC being a Class 1-A Avatar, both reprinted in your book. This is nothing really important, we are just curious if Mal-2 had written down any further ideas about this topic which we have been teased about in the 4th ed. with only these vague clues.
