We (that is, Aktion 23) are currently working on the layout of the German translation of the Goetia Discordia, and we wanted to ask if you have some higher resolution scans of your demonic illustrations for us to use. We haven't been able to purchase the Bathtub Books edition yet, but it seemed they also had colored versions of the demons. Were these done by you, too, or has someone else done the coloring?

Also, Bwana Honolulu has drafted an additional foreword to the German edition, and I included a translation for you in the attachments, it's not finalized yet, though. As you can read, we wanted to append some additional demons of our own. We already got descriptions and illustrations of these demons, but maybe you would like to re-draw them yourself? If so, then we can send you the descriptions (and our own drawings) as well.

I'll do some high-rez copies for you tonight. I've learned a great deal about digital art since our first attempt at publishing.

Bathtub Books has been resurrected after a imposed hiatus as https://crazystoner.com/ - there's some free pdf copies of my comix there if you'd like to have 'em.

I did do two full colour pieces for the cover of the book but those were the only ones.

I don't know about adding any demons to Kerry's original list tho' since he's no longer around to give his opinion on the idea. It might be better to do that as a second book on its own.

There doesn't seem to be any attachments to your message but I just woke up so I'll look again after I've had coffee.

Aber die Goetia finde ich da irgendwie nicht mehr, eigentlich ist alles leer bis auf die Gratis-PDFs... die ich mir wohl morgen mal anschauern werde.

Wenn man ihm noch mal klar machen würde, daß das ein separater Anhang wäre, bei dem vorher ausdrücklich gesagt werden würde, daß Kerry Thornley nichts damit zu tun hat?

Erst mal zum Vergleich noch mal der erste Entwurf:

Beim zweiten Entwurf hab' ich gerade gemerkt, daß ich für den Untertitel doch Umlaute benutzen kann

Und ich hab' noch mal den Titel mit 'ner œ-Ligatur und 'nem langen s (ſ) stilisiert,

aber bin nicht sicher, ob das 'ne gute Idee ist:

Dazu muss ich noch sagen, daß das "ſ" an der Stelle zumindest nach klassischen deutschen Regeln falsch wäre, für Latein hingegen OK. Das "œ" wäre grenzwertig, eigentlich ist der Titel ja nicht "Gœtia", aber im Mittelalter hat man das nicht immer so eng gesehen und einfach mal Ligaturen benutzt, wenn es welche gab.

Sorry, gents - I didn't get to doing those high-rez copies last night due to Jenn having me marathon a fix-up of this painting which she figures to produce at a poster for our on-line bookstore thing. I'll try to get to it after supper. Will the traditional 300 dpi be sufficient?

Thanks for the Lost File. Bwana Honolulu writes a great forward! You might let him know, tho', that the name "Roldo Odlor" is something that I had to use for facebook where a "family name" is mandafuckingtory. The rest of the time its just 'Roldo'.

I've been working on a new cover for our re-release of the Goetia. I could make a cover for your edition if you'd like, if you'd send me what copy you want want on it, especially as I expect it will in German which is a language that I'm unfortunately unfamiliar with aside from a few polite phases that I've learned to make tourists and visitors feel welcome if that occasion presents itself.
